Use of Material on the cs4fn Website

Subject to the restrictions given below:

You may print or make photocopies of material from the cs4fn website (www.cs4fn.org) for your own personal, non-commercial, or in-classroom use.

You may make your own work derived from the cs4fn website by modifying material from the website for your own personal, non-commercial, or in-classroom use.

Teachers may make multiple copies of material from the cs4fn website for in-classroom and teacher-training use.

Pupils may take home copies of material from the website, including derived material, for their own personal, non-commercial use.

Images: The majority of the images used on the cs4fn website are from www.istockphoto.com As we buy licences we have no right to give permission for others to use the images. If you wish to use the images for your own purposes you can buy royalty free licences from istockphoto - it is not expensive (and you probably agree with us they are great images so worth it.)

Contributions to cs4fn

We welcome contributions from readers of cs4fn. Contributions sent to cs4fn are accepted on the following basis, unless alternative terms have been agreed prior to submission of the contribution.

The Contributor will remain the copyright owner of the contributed material for the full term of copyright. The Contributor grants Queen Mary University of London a non-exclusive licence in such copyright throughout the world to use the Contribution, with the right to sublicense such copyright including on the basis specified above, "Use of Material on the cs4fn Website" and "Restrictions on Use of Material on the cs4fn Website".

Queen Mary, University of London will be free to use such contributed material in all its published media in both present and future forms e.g. print, electronic database, online, computer networks, derivative or any other versions and to use, publish, or deal with the contributed material in any form, media or manner as appropriate for the full term of copyright.

The Contributor warrants and undertakes that the contributed material is original; that it does not infringe any copyright, is not defamatory or otherwise actionable matter; that all statements in the contributed material purporting to be facts are to the best of his/her knowledge and belief true.

The Contributor will not object to any reasonable or necessary changes to the contributed material to appear in the University's different published forms referred to above.
